The Future of Work

The world of work faces an epochal transition. By 2030 as many as 375 million workers—or roughly 14 percent of the global workforce—may need to switch occupational categories as digitization, automation, and advances in artificial intelligence disrupt the world of work. The kinds of skills companies require will shift, with profound implications for the career paths individuals will need to pursue. In this masterclass, Dr. Nick van Dam will provide a long-term view on how automation and AI will shape the workplace, and calibrated to sensitivities around the economy, productivity, job creation and skills. Nick is the lead author of the McKinsey book ‘Elevating Learning & Development’ and he will feature research, insights and leading practices from over 34 McKinsey experts.
